It’s a Really Big Shoe!

It’s a Really Big Shoe!

At this writing, on Friday, the town was definitely taking on its winter character. Like the insurance company commercial used to say: Watch out for the other guy! The winter visitors have arrived in force, and some of them–sad to say–must’ve gotten their driver licenses at K-Mart.

Tomorrow is the BIG day. The annual Quartzsite RV Show opens and the crowds will stream in. If past years are any indicator, traffic northbound on Highway 95 from Yuma will back up for miles. Foot traffic will move much quicker than cars in the area of Rice Ranch, Prospector’s Panorama, and the Tyson Wells Show Grounds.

Yep, it’s the time. The time when if something for your RV broke, got lost, wore out, or you just wanted something “new” for the rig–well now’s the time that you’ll find it down here, quite possibly in the big tent.

It’s also the time to be prepared. Bring your goody bags and your water bottle. Bring your soft walking shoes and camera. And be sure to bring your patience!

I spend a lot of time reading different rv sites for infomation on different areas that I want to see now that I am fulltiming. I must say that your site is the most informative I have read yet. I really enjoyed all of the pictures and local info on the area of Qurtzsite. Great job and look forward to checking back now and then for updates..

    Happy trails,
